Conversion is set via an 8 digit DIP code switch which is located on the side of the Mini Converter. The switch positions which define each output format are indicated via the diagram printed on the back of the casing. When conversion is switched off, the SDI and HDMI outs act as loop-through outputs. Small LEDs next to the input jacks light up when a locked signal is detected. If both the SDI and HDMI inputs are used simultaneously, the SDI input is prioritised. Last but not least, a USB-C port allows you to connect the device to a computer and run the dedicated software (available for both macOS and Windows) which can be used to change settings such as the aspect ratio of the video or update the Mini Converter’s firmware.
